Dr. Magda Blanco has over 20 years of Corporate Development experience in biotech, where she has worked in different leading roles, mainly in the Corporate Strategy, Funding and Competitive Intelligence space. Before joining AAVANTGARDE in 2023, Magda served as Sr. Director of Strategy at NovalGen; prior to that, Magda was Director of Strategy and Business Operations at Freeline Therapeutics, where she was involved in the successful listing of the company in Nasdaq in 2020. Magda moved to London in 2013 to join the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult as Program Manager after having worked in different biotech companies and public research institutions in Madrid (Spain). Magda holds a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology and an MBA from Instituto de Empresa (Madrid, Spain).
