Mr. Murtagh has more than 20 years of experience leading global regulatory strategies across all phases of development, as well as multiple disease areas and therapeutic modalities. Before joining AAVantgarde in 2023, he served as Senior Vice President, Regulatory Affairs at Vedere Bio II where he led multiple functions and was responsible for the company’s regulatory strategies. Prior to joining Vedere, Mr. Murtagh served as Vice President, Regulatory Affairs at Astellas Gene Therapies (formerly Audentes Therapeutics) and before that at BioMarin Pharmaceuticals with increasing levels of regulatory responsibilities.
