Megan Zoschg Canniere is a drug development and regulatory executive with 25 years of experience across multiple therapeutic areas, modalities and stages of development.

She joined AAVantgarde from Spark Therapeutics, a member of the Roche Group, where she most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer. At Spark, Megan led clinical development and regulatory strategies across multiple programs and clinical trials, including innovative gene therapy development approaches and interactions with health authorities across regions.

Prior to Spark, she spent fifteen years at Roche/Genentech, where she held senior regulatory leadership roles including across neuroscience and rare diseases, with responsibility for global regulatory strategies and health authority interactions and supporting gene therapy regulatory policy.

Earlier in her career, Megan held regulatory leadership positions at Warner Chilcott and Johnson & Johnson. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
